Computers just make sense to me, must be of that age  Even most of my friends get annoyed at how fast I can type, but that comes from working for 4 years as a data entry clerk, soon become quick if you want to go home!! A VX as your first car is still pretty impressive though, and everyone has accidents / a few points now  VX is my second car, all my brownie points and run-ins with the establishment were in my first car, had nothing in my VX :D....... maybe thats because its always in the garage

Good evening sir :) Dentists = pain. There are those in life that enjoy pain and i'd dare say with all that comes with vx ownership, most of them are on here ;) . Olympics = Couldn't give a monkey's. Alot of fuss over even more tax payer's money being wasted. Looking forward to it as much as the next trip to the previously mentioned dentist :beat: . Answer = Willing and able chinky chinky . Mandarin first = Nope! :P . Mandarin's name = Nope! again..it's just a posh man's orange ;) . Hope you are well and we can drive away that boredom faster than a supercharged n/a rallly Imnotworthy :grouphug:

Evening Icey :) I think the pain from the dentist and the pain from owning a VX are worlds apart, imo. But I am sure you're right in a way, takes the same kind of mentality to put up with the pain  I'll find someone that likes the dentist one day! My plan is to run as far away from London as possible (without going too far north :P) as on top of it being a huge drain on the tax payers money (I will be a tax payer soon enough, and was one only a few months ago  ) I think it will cause travel in London to become even more of a nightmare than it already is! Strange that it reminded me of, but I saw that Borris refunded the congestion charge to anyone who went to work on Monday in the snow, nice one Borris thumbsup My second choice was you Icey, or maybe Joe... Mandarin is clearly busy, unlike us  I meant is Mandarin now called Mandarin as he no longer owns a mandarin coloured VX, I think he has a black one now.... Mr Black?? I am doing alright thanks mate, had a 2 day week due to the snow :D How about you?? Nothing is as fast as a s/c n/a! Imnotworthy Fact. thumbsup

...that's us english for you. Always first in coming last ;) . Talking of cricket, there's all uproar here in bright brum about the proposed £3 million ground update work planned for edgbaston. All the locals are pulling their hair out about the planned floodlights, so i've heard thumbsup .

Aw bless ya hun, I know what you mean though.

Some nights I just cannot be bothered, I now just love being at home & chilling with nice candles burning & a few vino's :grouphug:

I was a real party animal a few years ago but now it is so boring/just not meaningful

I love my life now  Being a party girl is not all it is cracked out to be some times

Getting back to your nice comfy home is lovely :grouphug:

I don't mind the dentist at all, just as well really as I have 3 bridges and 2 Crowns and numerous fillings. I nearly fell aslep in the chair once after going to the dentist straight from a night shift.

The Olympics ? I may see a bit on TV when its in this country but have never been that interested.

Yes we will and have responded.

Mandarin is still Mandarin but is not so quick off the mark tonight.

Oh and if you are bord check the dictionary .........bored. Sorry couldn't resist and my spellings not the best.

Well hello there iceman :grouphug: Hope you are ok :)

Well hello yourself my good friend. Nice to see you again :grouphug: . Sorry for the late (or technically, looking at the time, it's early lol) reply. I gave-up trying to post after the forum froze :( half-way through posting a reply to snowwhite.

I am ok thanks. Suffering somewhat from the stress and exhaustion of keeping everything looking normal above water whilst my ickle legs are paddling a million to the dozen underwater just to keep the business afloat and myself from drowning but apart from that i'm fine..thanks for asking. It's no more than all/most other small businesses are doing though, so i shouldn't/can't complain :) .

Me & rob are just being silly on here & having a laugh together :D

..and its very good to see you in such high spirits our kid. (..forgoten to don my flamesuit though, so am still dowsing the ambers from robs comments re the calender but hey-ho, that's life). Like i say..nice to see you in such high spirits after all the stresses of the past year. Sincerely hope that this new one holds more of the good and less of the bad, for you both.

Best regards...

..icey :grouphug: .

Evening Icey :)

Morning sir :) . Sorry the night never got my reply. I'm unsure if it was the forum (although unlikely, as it seems to have been ok for all you chaps), my computor or just me (more than likely a combination of the two latter..lol).

I think the pain from the dentist and the pain from owning a VX are worlds apart, imo. But I am sure you're right in a way, takes the same kind of mentality to put up with the pain  I'll find someone that likes the dentist one day!

I guess the dentist has a drill with which to torment, the vx has vxl and we pay both for the privilege of pain. Good thing is though, that the dentist makes us able to smile and the vx makes us want to..so i'd say they share alot in common ;) :D

My plan is to run as far away from London as possible (without going too far north :P ) as on top of it being a huge drain on the tax payers money (I will be a tax payer soon enough, and was one only a few months ago  ) I think it will cause travel in London to become even more of a nightmare than it already is!

Oh for sure. The infrastructure at the moment being pressed to cope (you poor tube users you *shudders at the thought*) just how it'll cope come olympic crowds is quite beyond me.

Strange that it reminded me of, but I saw that Borris refunded the congestion charge to anyone who went to work on Monday in the snow, nice one Borris thumbsup

Actually, for the first time ever, i thought 'nice one Borris' too, when i heard that reported thumbsup .

My second choice was you Icey, or maybe Joe... Mandarin is clearly busy, unlike us

Oh well...second best is better than none at all i suppose :P chinky chinky . Let us just hope he's busy sorting out his next excursion into vxdom :) .

I meant is Mandarin now called Mandarin as he no longer owns a mandarin coloured VX, I think he has a black one now.... Mr Black??

Don't care what he! calls himself ;) ..just as marathons will always be marathons (none of this snickers lark for me i'm afraid) and jif always jif, mandarin will always be mandarin :D .

I am doing alright thanks mate, had a 2 day week due to the snow :D How about you?? Nothing is as fast as a s/c n/a! Imnotworthy Fact. thumbsup

I'm not too bad thanks. No days off here though (gosh..perish the thought) but managed to make the effort going in worth it chinky chinky .

:grouphug:

 Can't really comment on how sad staying in (or returning home from being out) is, as i'm somewhat of a hermit anyway. But do know that if you're just not 'feeling it' when out, then the wisest thing is to return, (..to us..lol). Staying out just for the sake of it would be as much sad (imho) as it would be a waste of money as well as time thumbsup . You made the wisest choice my friend :)
