It will probably come off the first time I drive it but I'm happy thumbsup
The back/roof edge is quite creased, more so at the corners (this is mostly to do with me rushing a little  ), and the bottom of the verticals aren't quite as tidy I would like (hidden by the doors anyway), but I only wanted this as a stop gap until I could get it sprayed so it's definitely not a moan :)

Thanks again Ian (and Speedy!) chinky chinky

Scott.

OK Folks, I agree with the results you have seen. Don't expect an invisible seamless job, it won't stand up to close scrutiny. Having said that I think it's OK for the money and unless you were really looking you probably wouldn't notice. All I can say is take as much time as you can with the job. I've just packaged up the others tonight (thank god) -> Steven I'll pop your's in the internal mail tomorrow ;-) -> SteveH I'm still holding your's for you. Right now to go take some close up piccies of my handywork.

Ok, here's the warts an all, tell it like it is photos. (And the cars dirty  ) I'm sure there is a lot of potential for a more improved job but I'm happy with the bits you see front on.

As I'm getting the V and windscreen surround painted I was thinking of looking into this - other than the standard stuff on the rear arches I've never seen this on a car - what puts me off is if it is as visiable as that fitted as standardd to the rear arches.. :( .. if so then I'll save the money and get a respray if the chips get too bad.

Thanks thumbsup

Only seemed to add half the message doh! :beat: Should have read: Ian, don't want to hijack the thread but just looking at the picture of your car it looks like you have amourfend fitted - am I correct. ok, i've just finished mine. it really makes the car look different (in my eyes anyway) your eye is more focused on the line of the car rather than going up the side of the window. looks good thumbsup appologies to BC :( totally forgot to take photo's but i think its been covered. all i did was soak the surround in water (bit if washing up liquid in there too) and soaked the black foil, in fact i drenched it!! started with the top and then the sides, some lines but only on the back edge (like Ians) and at the bottom of the surround i messed up a bit but what the heck, it looks good and for the price it was its cool (its a five yard mod). oh and it was getting dark and my garage light is sh*t!! and i'd had 4 cans of stella (thats me mashed :P ) so maybe in the morninng it will look worse than i think now  cheers to Ian for sorting this buy out thumbsup chinky chinky
