Must have improved something to bother making it? Hmmm... what they have improved is the mass-market appeal by making a completely average car that they can sell more of and make more cheaply. It is NOT an improvement as a driver's car.Thats a bit harsh int it hes only worried about getting ripped off as everyone is who hasnt bought one before
also I wouldnt prepare for a price hike as the numbers go down as I was, cos when this comes out we have no hope
unless its p*ss slow and handles like sh*t PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE![]()

yes it looks a bit MX5 hair dresser but they must have improved something to bother making it. I hope its not a 3.0 V6
The VX is a hi-tech Lotus product (bonded lightweight alu chassis, composite panelled, race-bred suspension, etc.) aimed at people who want an intense, immediate driving experience.
The successor is a conventional, steel, GM mass production mainline car. Fine if you want that sort of thing, but certainly not a worthy replacement for the VX. To stay with the VX philosophy and get a new car, you have to stay with Lotus (111R/Exige).
Chalk and cheese. Should not influence prices as they are aimed at different segments of the market.
