Yeah 100dB is pretty loud. Don't forget, its not a linear scale so 100dB is twice as loud as 97dB!

It's always confused me. I was tested (static) at Bedford at 99 once. The next time I went (after replacing the induction kit with a standard paper filter) I measured 105. They then retested 10 seconds later at 100.5. However, I was giving full beans all day and had no driveby probs whereas a guy in a VXT with full Milltek (supposedly quiet) and no induction tripped the driveby limit and got blackflagged.
All seems a bit random to me
Was that streetboy?? Wasn't the AMM on it way out or something?
My mate was at Bedford in streetboys old car - no problem
