In sweden? How was the damage actually compared to when you purchased it?? And whats your plans for the engine, suspension brakes etc??? :D :D

Mmmm... more than minor servicing then! :lol: Looks like you'll be spending a fair amount of time in that garage over winter – hope it's well heated. Look forward to seeing the finished result posted. B)

well! the damages is not mine :D all of it was there when i bought the car. i have a little plan how the car is going to be when its finished. öhlin suspension and not the road&track-kit. it will be a custom-made one. n/a engine with saab internal parts. its the same engine as in saab 9-3 aero but without turbo of course. mbe 941. one-off custom-made camshafts if we can´t find something good enough to purchase. 220-240hp is the goal. the whole body in carbon/fiberglass. we are going to make the moulds from my other speedster. porshe gt3 rearcalipers in the front and the original front ap-calipers goes in the rear. wilwood discs in the front and original discs in the rear. abs stays in place. i will try to have this thread updated every week if something has progressed.

the whole body in carbon/fiberglass. we are going to make the moulds from my other speedster.

let me know about costs...
my friend and I are about to do the same... front and rear clamshells...
costs are usually a lot less in Italy than scandinavian countries...
will let you know when the carbon/f.glass artisan come up with a ballpark price....

do you have any prices for the italian parts. maybe its easier for me to buy them from there.

we never intended to sell any of our parts, but if there is some interest and we can hold the price down, why not!.

we are not going to make an "easy replace of a original part". these parts is going to be for racing-use only with modification of bondingplaces (dont know the right word for it, but where the bodyparts is bonded to the chassi)
weightwatch is the target.

the whole front and rear will be made as one with no opening for the engine or in the front.

damn it´s hard for me to find the words i´m looking for. hope you understand what i mean.

frontclam is the "hatch" in the front clamshell.
and the rearclam is the "hatch" in the rear clamshell.
have i got this right?.
think i need a little lesson in your language about car-related words :blink: :D

heh anders i was just joking with you. the clam is the whole front (top) and backend(top) of the car. clam shell as in 'oyster clam' i think??? the opening bits would be bonnet lid (front), boot lid (back). i was just trying to be funny when i was saying you have to remove to fill and stuff. sorry, i didn't mean to make you feel like an ass :D
