usually i don´t understand the jokes in english if there´s "streetwords*" in it.
*didn´t find a translation for this word in my swedish dictionary. ;)

Streetwords = Slang

i thougt it was something wrong with my online dictionary, when the same word "slang" came up as the english translation for slang in swedish.
i think we may have stolen a word from you :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

here is some more pics. the rollhoop is now out of the car and will be replaced with a fia-approved rollcage. electrical system is also out. the car is now to be transported to the rollcage-builder and he said that i could take about 3-4 weeks before we get the car back :( . meanwhile a new fueltank (100liter) is under construction and the suspension is beeing set up by öhlin. the engine is taking place in a testcell at KTH (royal technical university) and the head of combustion technical lab will tune and rebuild the engine over the winter.

do you have any prices for the italian parts. maybe its easier for me to buy them from there.

we never intended to sell any of our parts, but if there is some interest and we can hold the price down, why not!.

weightwatch is the target.

the whole front and rear will be made as one with no opening for the engine or in the front.

believe me, weightwatch is my main target as well, :P otherwise I would just buy the regualr opel clams....

rear bootlid can be made easily like I did at home, using a flat sheet of lexan, 1,2 kg total....
front lid is a bit more complicated to do at home, so I will ask the artisan to do it.....

as soon as I have a ballpark cost-figure I will post it.... my "most-crashed-man" friend :D is a bit busy right now organizing a track-day at the fiat proving-grounds (he works at Fiat... :rolleyes: ) but by next week we should have a meeting with the carbon/fiberglass artisans...

....I can already imagine a big surgery-like room, dude's engine fully disassembled at the center, a bunch of enthusiastic fellas in white coat handling cams, springs, valves, with inquisitive looks.... :lol: :groupjump:

saturday morning will take my speedy to an artisan shop, specialized in race-car fiberglass/carbon clams (that's all they do....) will get an estimate (if they accept the job!!) and report back here... B)
