The plants are two years old and two are looking particularily healthy. Last year had a grand total of 3 fruits, each was about the size of a penny and grew no bigger. Nice and intense heat though! This year still flowering and probably got 25 between the two already. Biggest ones are twice the size of last year and don't think they are anywhere near picking (still translucent & seeds not all formed inside).
They have been growing for weeks though, getting bigger but very slowly.
First photo is one of the plants, short and bushy. Second is next to a tabasco plant from this years crop. Third is the biggest fruit so far.

How's everyone getting on with their chillies?
I've got 3 apache plants that have between 30 - 40 on each and are just beginning to ripen nicely, 3 Scotch Bonnet still producing, 2 Tepin that don't seem to be doing anything yet except growing tall and thin and 2 Red Savina that are flowering. I also planted Red Habanero and another type that I can't remember but they wouldn't germinate even when I put them in my Lizards vivarium which is a constant 30 degrees so I gave up on them.
Anybody know any good sites for chilli based recipes? I've got lots of curries so looking more for stuff like sweet chilli sauces etc.
Ren
I have a 2 year old Tepin and it still hasn't produced any fruits or even flowers.
My Nagas and Jalapenos are doing great. Had some fun in the pub with 1 Naga, a friend of my dads telling me how he loves Vindaloos blah blah and then trying the Naga

My Asian neighbour makes us a great chillie dip with our chillies! If IRRC it is:
2 Tom's
1/2 Onion
fresh mint
fresh corriander
1 garlic clove
x amount of chillies (how hot you want it)
Ketchup to taste
Feel as though I am forgetting something......? Gorgeous if I have got the recipe right???
