Thanks Rubber. Don't suppose anyone has a spare helmet that I could borrow do they? I know it's a bit late to be asking - just checked on Palmersport website and it is showing none left! Thanks, Ben

Thorney, Earlystock, I am a big medium if there is such a thing! A large is a bit wobbly and for a small I would need Beelejuice to shrink my head! A medium would be great!!

While I remember...bring plenty of cash. Palmer sell petrol on site (well they did last time), but it is a pound a litre thumbsup , and they only take cash. I burnt through about a hundred quid last time (3 tanks) :(

Ok, here is some sort of report of the days events. Anything i miss out i'm sure someone will put in. First of, bad luck Paul, luckily not to much damage, easy for me to say i know. Also our sympathys to the renault clio who decided to park on his roof in front of the pits!!! Turn out for the VXs not to bad 8/9. Iknow steve and cheeky had cameras so hopefully photos will follow. Right we had the Southwest circuit, 2.8 miles long, a bit of everything in it bends and an annoying straight that Thorney loved. The NAs lost to much ground here. Minor offs and spinners, did we have any, oh yes. The 'driving god' himself was toppled from his throne to quash the myth. Coming into turn 1, sharp left hander. Thorney right up Cheekys chuff with me in hot pursuit. Thorney and i got round but Cheeky locked up the front left and went straight, Thorney reckons he could hear me laughing from his car, and I was behind him :o . Then to top it all he spins again at a sharp left hander were the armco waves at you as you go by. Still, not to be out done, Streetboy decides to spin in front of the pit lane aswel for all to see :D and we did :P Apart from the few plonkers that come to these sort of days I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Need new tyres and brakes now though. I suppose a mention should go to the couple out for their sunday drive, in a cavalier. With the roof rack on  . Amazing sight. There was so much that went on through the day, to much for me to relay, so if anyone has anything else to add go ahead. Just waiting for Cheekys excuses now ;) Ian

Well i had a brill day also (until abiut 3.30pm anyway). One high light was to see earlystock (think it was him, correct me if I'm wrong) deciding to take the cones out rather than plunge into a Ford GT40 replica at the end of a 115mph straight. (or 135mph if your names Thorney) Just to get my story correct. I wascoming around a fairly fast corner when i saw the yellow Fiat going slowly and indicating left. now i know officially we're not suppose to overtake on a bend but i was a little indecive as to what to do, backed of the gas and the next thing i knew was the back end broke loose and I shot across the front of him. :beat: heres some piccys of the resulting damage.

:) Coooool day! Bad luck to Paul's damage and seeing a clio nearly barrel roll it infront of the pits was SCARY!!! :o Track was great - couple of long straights, plently of bends... The VX is SUCH a great track car - keeps up with most cars on the straight and demolishes all but the last few in the bends :groupjump: Impreza WRZ's - no probs. Old E30 M3's - no probs. Only issue was some TVR's and 928's - they pulled away on the straights but just got reeled in on the bends... Would they move over? Would they feck :beat: A few flashes and on one occasion a blast of the horn gave them the hint :poke: The geo check really made me feel confident too :) car was just on rails... Most of the time.... ...And all i say was that having a blue VXT with semi slicks bearing down on you doesnt focus the concentration - it throws it out of the window :D As Streetboy found later on when we went head to head.... :poke: :poke: :P
