Fab, read this:
<here>

thanks not nice i admit :( but they are such good dogs
i am glad my breeder follow the guide line for breading healthy dogs
now i didnt know on that and can always say some breeder are just too greedy rant and we must mess up with mother nature

Actually there is no guide line to breeding them, basically the breed in itself has a genetic flaw. For a dog to be classed as a ... it must conform to certain physical properties, say "must have a small head" for example. Now people breed to make the perfect dog and therefore pick the supposed "pedegree" which matches those properties best, but in so doing they are breeding defects into that breed of dog! The only way to stop this is to cross breed, but of course people dont want a dog which isn't supposedly "designer". The kennel clubs rules on "what makes a breed" are barbarick and idiotic!

i do agree cross breed its wrong :angry:

very true on that point
i breed my dog for people to enjoy as companion and not for show and do not agree either on inner breed

I'm scared of only two things, Heights and spiders!!! That one has actually made me shudder!!! :o :(

I take it to be a pet it must have had it's venom glands removed? Isn't the fur supposed to be an irritant as well? :unsure: :poke:

Had totally forgotten about this thread, the household has grown, my old cat have moved back to me after a year in exile with my sister... And at the moment we are a foster home for a cat and her two kittens, helping out the local cat shelter.

Pics will follow...

As for the questions:

No, the wenom glands are still there... Haven't got bitten yet, it's supposed to be similar to the sting of a hornet. Not especially dangerous but very painful.

Yes, the fur is an irritant, If you threaten it, it turns it back at you and kicks the hairs of it's rear legs at you... I guess in nature this is a good way to scare off predators, if the hairs get in your airways it's very unpleasant...

These are our mini lop rabbits. Lucie (Black and White) and Harley (squirrel colour). Believe it or not, they are actually brother and sister.

10 weeks old today...
