Always a nervy moment with cats!

Yep. Though ours was hiding undee the neighbours bush the other day (we thought she had done a runner) after some goon decided to let off a massive firework above our row of terraces at 10:45pm (a week after bonfire night). Took ages to find her - just cowering away. She has never taken well to being 'scruffed' (I blame her mother) but she just let Mel grab her and clung onto Mel for dear life.

They are, both in looks and nature. Though the new addition Autumn, needs lessons from Amber on what places it is appropriate to pee.

Can't call them my own, I am listed as a sibling in my parent's eyes. Can't think of another breed that are quite so perfect! Grew up with a rough collie and was a gnats whisker away from having one of Autumns siblings... but decided it could be a financial commitment too far given Mel is back to supply work after Christmas.

Rough collies are nice dogs. Just too yappy in my experience. Intelligent though.
