Yip i agree i fitted them to my turbo last time i was home i have the 16/17 wheels and it makes the car look so much better. I think the ride and the handling is better is it worth 700 plus that depends on how much you value that. I got them from Plans and fitted them myself easy to do just the setting up takes a bit off time.

Now thats a good set of questions Guy

I think it is better before i could push down quite easy on the spings now there is little movement and a lot less roll in the corners but some of that is down to the 888.

As for harsher/ crashier well my wife likes it better now where as before she thought it was sh*t.

Put it this way i paid 700 plus for them to replace with OE shocks is about 600-700 i think so it becomes a no brainer in the end.
If you do buy them ask for the c-spanner for adjusting them i forgot and had to p*ss about with a screw driver and mole grips holding the springs down.

As for pictures never posted a picture on here in 4 years dont know how and besides that i am down in OZ till end Oct.

Everyone makes such a big deal about the difference between NA and VXT and now its OK to fit same shocks on either? I dont think I would notice myself but people talk about the lard arse end of the VXT needing/having harder shocks?

Yeah, I quote your question :P AND I have another: will they last? (as OEM at least :P 30k miles o more...)
I don't want to change or rebuild my shocks every X miles...)
thanks

A cheap tubby option (for those that have missed it in the discussion thread)

Not as well made as the Sachs (nickel plates steel instead of stainless steel) but less than half the price and still appear to be decent quality

How long is the warranty on the Sachs

...but Gaz (like Spax and -maybe- even Nitron) need frequent rebuild? If U have to remove every year, it's not so cheap...

888s would give MORE movement, dive, squat and bodyroll, not less
