Dont bother with PES2008 its utter junk, its got unforgivable slow doooooooowwwwwwnnnnnnnnn. (this proves it either A) wasnt tested or B) they couldnt get to grips with the PS3 which a lot of reports suggest is the case.

they should be shot down for releasing a game in this state!

Good job they can patch games these days then :) !!

Get out clause for releasing shite games.

They either have to patch the whole graphics engine (unlikley), find the faults or reduce the detail lol, (it already looks like a PS2 game!)
I spotted it running on a 360 in hmv and it looks as smooth as anything!

If i had been waiting for this game i'd cry!

I think the PS3 be be used solely for blu-ray dvd's until they release something really impressive. Forgot to mention before, I gotta say if you dont have a spare usb keyboard make sure you get one before getting the ps3 as trying to type with the controller pad is the most confussing thing ever  Gotta get halo3/PRG4 on the 360 soon

Update so you know, bought a 40GB this weekend, and there are a few untruths on this thread and some correct information so to clarify:- 1. It does have WI-FI built in, and also has the option to wire in via a network cable (not supplied) 2. It does bluetooth 3. It isn't backward compatible with PS2 games (but that doesn't really bother me still have ps2 anyway and dont really see this as deal breaker anyway ) 4. Obviously has a smaller hard drive 40GB rather than 60GB 5. You still get free access to on line gaming. 6. It up-scales your standard definition Dvds (brilliant feature), the 60GB does this also, but requires the latest update Ver 2.0 7. No card reader, but then again you can connect your camera or external card reader to it anyway. 8. Only 2 usb ports, really don't see the problem with this, you have wireless bluetooth controllers anyway So i think its still a worthwhile purchase thumbsup Oh and no ring of death like other consoles i could mention. chinky chinky Jas
