Thankyou to Max and Mr M (I think, if I've got that wrong I do apologise, I'm rubbish with names) for the passenger rides. Two very impressive cars. A turbo with nigh on 300 horses is VERY fast . The supercharged car didn't feel far off in power but as you would expect felt less lairy and probably easier to drive.
I also had a pax in an exige 240R that was very rapid & sorted.

Max I'm sorry James wouldn't shut up - he's like that sometimes - but he did fit the Pagids so it kind of worked out in the end!

I had a great time. Now where can I find £12k for a decent vx?

Dean

Dean,

Thanks for the tips on driving line at Coppice & Charlies, it was much better. Please thank James for fitting the Pagid's for me. Cheers Max

Mr M, I enjoyed our drive in the morning session, shame you had to leave early though...

Higgins....Some Very nice driving!

I dont think i'll bother with castle coombe, it looks just the same as cadwell park.
Nice video Max, that s/c sounds great. Hope to see you on a trackday again, i'd love a pax lap with you
if possible.
I'd blame that spin on Guy, he was weighing down the lefthand side of your car.

Hi all - sorry I had to disappear so early :( apologies to those I didn't get to say goodbye to on the day - and sorry it's taken so long for me to get back on here Good to see you all on Sunday - what a fantastic morning thumbsup Sounds like the rain set in not too long after I left..? In no particular order - Paul - good to see you back in the VX instead of the barge (and wow - that photo of your car looks good!) Higgins - top pedalling Imnotworthy ; Max - what a noise  ; Guy - she's still too clean ;) :P ; Dean - it was good to see you again after so long. Thanks for the kind words - she certainly is fast, but I'm hoping she'll get faster once the monkey behind the wheel adjusts fully to the new map. As I said at the time, it still feels (somewhat inevitably) like using a sledgehammer, rather than a scapel. Still, I was feeling improvements even during the course of Sunday so I'm sure we'll get there Max - agreed, it great session towards the end of the morning thumbsup - would love a repeat but don't think I'm going to be able to make any more of the days you're at Cadwell over the summer. I'm sure our paths will cross at some point over the coming months though

Performance Box shows me lapping in 110seconds (1min 50)

Guy if you want to swap performance box data from cadwell for comparison/overlay let me know.
I'd be intrested to see how much more your car accelerates. It looked very quick along the start/finish straight
when i watched from the clubhouse.

PM me mate, i'll cut a few laps up (using the cadwell start/finish marker from racelogics site) and email them?? and you can do the same?

did you do a lap time check?

you will have been lapping quicker than me due to the corners/your driving experience

Guy, had a quick look at the two sets of data. It really shows how much faster your car accelerates. It makes me want to go stage 4.

It was one of your first trackdays, you have to build up a bit at a time, and not drive past what your instincts dictate otherwise you're likely to bin it. Snetterton is an ideal track to start as is bedford, lots of runoff.
