Yep, the car was undriveable, no grip, snappy power oversteer, no traction out of low speed corners, high speed understeer switching to oversteer mid corner. I eventually parked it in the corn field in the middle, backwards at around 80mph, which was fun.
Realised what I had done when I remembered I had pumped up the tyres for the motorway journey, and in my hurry to get petrol and get back for the seccond session, forgot to adjust them for the track. When I checked them I had 37psi rear 36 front, whereas they should be 27psi all round hot. Car was miles quicker in the afternoon for having loads more grip.
you could be a racing driver with excuses like that
