I'm adding this to my collection of pictures I trawl out everytime someone says 'the VX has crap brakes'

:D

That's with the ABS disabled thumbsup

My brakes have been 'different' for a while now - very little travel in the pedal, so pretty much on/off - on track they were amazing (apart from boiling fluid)

Well done for posting the vid Slindborg. I was the last car you overtook before you span. Nice to get a bit of vid of myself, cheers. What were they thinking when they put the horn button there ffs.

I wanted a plate that made the car look older than it was, to stop being pulled by the blue person club. (got pulled 3 times in yaris with a new plate in 6 months) It was going to be made into VX TRB but could not get the 4 made into X and still look like a 4. Plan scuppered.... and all the plates with SMW (my initials) where > £1500 for some strange reason. If you want to make me an offer it will have to be for more than 500 quid :P or Ill flog it to VAT man RB.... haha

Actually I'd say this just shows overly soft suspension and nothing to do with braking power whatsoever.

lol, thats better but rear rebound damping might need looking at, alternatively stiffer compression damping at the front. We can play this all day :groupjump:

Do I have the adjustment you just mentioned with Sachs coilovers..?

It does feel a little soft on the front at times, and the rear does bounce quite a bit after a bump....

I was only playing putting the pic up. The shocks were only fitted the day before the photo by one of your guys, lol.

Generally yes you do - Sach are only single way adjustable so the rebound/dampening is combined.

For information I run (Clicks from Hard)

Dry Track: 2/3 Front 1 Rear (adjust F/R accordingly to track and conditions)
Fast Road: 8 Front 6 Rear
:gayfight: : 15ish allround

Don't be afraid to crank the dampening up on the sachs - the valving is quite differenet to the Nitrons.
