Fingers crossed they were okay. The wreckage always looks bad with a VX. I crashed at 30mph and both clams came away. Thankfully, I stepped out uninjured.

Weird, was driving down the A322 myself on Friday evening... 
The weather at that time was shocking... You have to be particularly careful going down the long stretch between the Crowthorne interchange (9 Mile Ride) and where the road splits for Ascot/Bagshot as there is no overhead lighting and the outside lane can flood causing aquaplaning (is this where it happened? 
)
