Just got an update from Scott Noon in UK who are making them, number 12 and 13 currently in the making. He also promissed to send out an e-mail with status etc to all of you on the list. As soon as I receive my set I'll fit it and provide feedback to both Scott and you all in the group buy (incl. pics). Best regards, Stefan

Good stuff, Stefan! Looking very much forward to your pics Will Scott wait for your comments before releasing the lot? Might be an idea to send one to you ahead for trial fit then? (I'm not that good in waiting) :groupjump:

I've been away on business trip this week but there was a mail waiting from Scott. Parts are ready to be delievered and I've just sent him some hard earned via PayPal. I'll post pics and comments as soon as I get the stuff. Will be interesting to compare with the bits I have from Carbontec.

Got this mail on Sunday, still haven't got the parts though.

Hi Stefan, Yes your parts are on there way along with some other people. The next order to be complete is the one to germany with 8 consols and 7 forward consol then there are just a few others to do. You should recieve them next week but please let me know when it arrives.

Regards Scott

I'm off for another business trip now, but I certainly hope that there are some CF bits waiting for me when I'm back in the weekend.

Received all in good order. chinky chinky Before installing there's 3 things for me to do: - widen the gap for the handbrake lever as it's positioned assymetrical like the oem gap, but on the wrong side. Sandpaper will do the job. - drill the hole for the alarm led. - purchase one meter of the rubber U-shape lining. Unfortunately I couldn't get it of the old cover in one piece :angry2: For the weight weenies: Central gear lever surround OEM 520gr Central gear lever surround CF 340gr saving 180gr Lower console OEM 660gr Lower console CF 300gr saving 360gr I think we can all agree that this one is done for the looks

Finally got a parcel today with some CF bits!

Well-packaged

Getting exiting now...

Lower consol, missing the rubber protection at the edges so I'll have to think of something else

Gear lever suround, missing the hole for the alarm LED if you have a NA

Will eventually go and fit them later today if time permits. If not, I'll have it done during the weekend since I'm off to Norway tomorrow morning for the rest of the week.

Got around fitting the parts today.

Cut-out for handbreak needs to be widened, as mentioned above sandpaper will do the job. Further a 7.5 mm drill is needed for the alarm LED (if you have an NA). Quite pleased with the result, compared to the scuffed silver plastic.

You should have got a mail from Scott. Have you checked your "spam folder"? Some Internet security programs are a bit sensitive... Or drop him a mail at golf@scottnoon.freeserve.co.uk

You can't see it on the pics, but the cupholder looks a bit shabby next to the new shiny stuff B)

My next useless investment: dash plates and door panels!
