started off standard vx
did my first trackday at the national last year and kind of got the buzz for modification and track days

went down the NA mods first -
stage 1 - KnN filter, ported throttle body, 2.4 inlet manifold, ported head with +1mm wasted stem valves, piper cams, 4-1 dbilas manifold, 200 cell sport cat, VSE/miltek
otherall this preformed a nice kick up the backside, could have done with a custom remap but due to our ecu not being cracked yet means this is a bit of a pain of the ars...
Stage 2 - then managed to get a bargain from our american friends

All i needed from the kit i bought from america is the charger (off course) the 2.0 SC throttle body, inlet manifold and the gasket for inlet to charger (£33!!)
below is a list of parts needed for stage 1 and 2 which i purchased from courtenay sport (speak to Jon Shield, he is very knowledgeable about the supercharger) i went for the stage 2 as it just made sense as there wasnt much difference in price
Stage 1 210bhp:
pulley - £17.25
pulley bracket - £58.10
pulley belt - £15
larger pulley £49.95
swaping the larger pulley - £63
inlet manifold - £1.60
inlet manifold alignment bolts - £36
alternator belts - £2
Remap - £200 plus £85ph on the dyno
Total - £527.90
Stage 2 240-50bhp:
all of the above (apart from large pulley) - £414.95
pre rad - £185
19mm hose - £39.92
header tank (colbalt second hand) - £10
turbo injectors (second hand) - £20
injector plugs - £34.48 (probably get these cheaper second hand)
2 bar map sensor - £52.31
duel pass mod - £99 (not necessary just worthwile)
2 x grommits - £4
total - £859.66
Also is worthwhile if you havent already to fit an upgraded radiator as the front clam will be off already.
Currently the car looks like this:

i have upgraded the radiator, and also changed my exhaust system to a full 2.5" piper system

jobs left to do is to
mount the pre rad in the crash box
fit the radiator
run the pipes
mount the supercharger (waiting on the gasket for the manifold to charger)
wait for the ECU to be sorted
then its just a case of putting the clams back on with HIGH GRADE STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS which is a must!! honestly!! just do it!! saves a lot and i mean a lot of pain next time it comes to change to stage 3

Just want to say a big thank you to Neil (vocky) for doing most of the work and teaching me along the way! wouldnt have been done without him
