Out of interest have you ever considered basic TDs Chris?

had them on before, they were fine, just everyone has them and i dont think it suited my car..

Furry muff. But lightness...

Especially as you’ve now gone to the expense of the lightest break discs ever :)

Todays mission was to replace the standard fuel tank with the Pro Alloy 48Ltr one.

This should reduce the fuel starvation i'm getting on fast left corners.

you can see the standard tank is angled towards the fuel pump.

this is all the crap out of the breather, probably over 1000 miles and a trackday and this is what i have collected.

Had my trackday and it went quite well.. car ran fine all day..

I first did Blyton Park 4 years ago and managed a 1'11.59

then 3 months ago i went back and cut my time down by a little more..

down to a 1'10.8..

i watched chris randalls GT4 Europa drive there years ago on youtube and he managed a 1'09.x and i always wanted to be aiming for around that, i mean.. if i can be similar to a fully fledged gt4 race car then i would be pretty happy..

i have a very generous friend who invited me to a private trackday at blyton so i thought the track was going to be pretty quiet so i was going to try get a 1'09.x

packed and ready to go!

I didnt get any on board vids :( i couldnt find my gopro in time..

When i go back i will no doubt be back in the 1’08’s as i did it 3/4 times, also i had a pax so i think mid 8’s should be more than do-able.

I will make sure to get it recorded.

Are you seeing the gains in certain areas or just everywhere?

Just everywhere, i think its just being more committed and having more seat time on the track with the car..

Deffo, I don’t think there is any substitute for seat time.

totally agree.

i tried to just be reasonably consistent and just really take the braking points etc in and pro-actively work on them.

Have a good rummage around in the projects section, there are some really good build threads which are worth the time to read. :)
