right i have been in touch with no limit motorsport (www.nolimitmotorsport.com) and enquired about the following products for z22se only!

eagle rods

wiseco pistons

they are willing to do a little discount ;)

for 2 or more the combined cost will be $779 plus postage ($115)

or

for 5 or more $749 plus postage ($115) - this is probably a bit ambitious but hey i can only offer what has been offered to me!

just let me know if you are interested as i need these parts and its all about saving a bit of money in the current state of the economy! (and taking advantage of it  )

should just get import tax.... why would you get the 15% vat charge? we could also save on the $115 shipping by getting it shipped to one address? as 3 off us seem to be fairly close to each other? just a thought.

I made some enquiries when looking at the Harrop group buy thread

So you'd need to ask the seller if they can waive any US VAT, or use another 'method' of shipping

Have you contacted AllEcotec (I think Karo on Z22SE) to see if he can do a group buy - he's done them before for cams etc and should know the shipping routine :)

I made a couple of calls today, looks like the charges should be

UK VAT @ 15%
+
Import Duty @ 2.7%

So not as bad as I'd thought, there may be additional handling charges too, but that would be at the discretion of the shipping company

Of course you need to convince the sender to waive any AU/US VAT equivalent charges (for which they would have to prove that they were exported, but I'm sure they've been through that loop before)

I'm not sure if those charges are applicable to just the cost of the goods, or goods and shipping

so rik you are lucky number 5 1. joe_589 2.leevx2.2 3 ??? 4. mandarinvx 5. rik now they said it would cost 275 for a group postage to one address. however its free delivery within the usa.... now to get out of this vat crap! i might be able to persuade my Auntie who lives in the USA to send them over to me, however last time this happened i still had to pay import tax etc etc is there a way around this? just a thought cheers

Wait a moment... $1500,- or even $1350,- for the Harrop??
Does that still needs VAT + shipping, because that will be really cheap...

Does you mates business perhaps also do rods & pistons??
