Techieboy, thats the look I'm going for, looks awesome in your car Imnotworthy That extra silver bit by the gear gator, is that the one off of the website mentioned for the sill covers or did you get it somewhere else?

Can't claim any credit for it as I had it done locally, by a professional car trimmer but he did do a cracking job. In reality it's darker than the photograph but has been like that for a couple of years with no problems at all. The silver surround was what was originally fitted to my car along with the alloy gearknob. I just transferred it across to the carbon fibre console. Think it was a dealer fit accessory at the time of purchase as the gearknob has no gear pattern markings on it.

I realise that alcantara/ suede/ flock dash tops get rid of the reflection onto the screen....But doesn't the dash top just turn into a mess of grit/ gravel/ flies and other road shite in time?

Don't have the problem as my heater tube has an inline filter in it, plus I've also got some fine mesh over the air intakes underneath the radiator/pre-rad

I have seen them, they look great, not sure where I saw them though. Will have a look tomorrow.

Found it, 98 euros, (click on speedster top right, then click interior)

Well, if you read it through you'll find that the sill covers are EUR 220 (re-trim of dash panel bits are EUR 98). You can get them in leather or alcantara. Further more, you have to send your old parts to them for re-trim. They claim 14 working days for the job, after receiving your parts. Doesn't say anything about shipping to UK, but I know for sure that they ship outside Germany. Fellow Speedster owner here in Sweden bought their splitter last summer.

I (badly ) covered the gear console with faux suede and then made a new gear stick gaiter from black faux suede. Seems to be working well and looking far better than it was :D

I got my Dad to do this bit in multiple parts - it aint great, but its not too bad, the black colour really hides the joins well enough!! Just went for a £15 real alcantara one and a momo knob in the end to finish, waiting for them to arrive. Pics of progress so far to follow.

Ok, pics so far:

I like it a lot, not saying its perfect, but much prefer it to my painted panels (size 11 pointed shoes means badly scratched panels after 2 months!!)

Feels fairly luxurious - don't know if I'm allowed to say that about a stripped out sports car but it is my daily drive!! Fully appreciate this isn't to everyones taste.

Not too bad a job, first time I've done anything like this and all for 18 quids worth of mock suede.

Yeah could be, the guy I bought it off literally piled on 3 layers of (house) carpet in both footwells. Take it he didn't like the milltek on long journeys!! I took it all out in prep for my Morgan carpet set - cant believe the weight of it all and the sheer amount of it, plus the fact I have gained literally an inch of depth on both sides!! Funnily enough, car feels more responsive!!

I am really impressed with that. Any chance of a link to the material and the glue? I was going to paint mine and do black handles but am now thinking black handles and suede/faux suede.
