Very sad news indeed. At least he died doing something he loved in a car he had a passion for. My sympathy goes to all the loved ones he left behind.

:( Such sad news. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Truely devastating. Let us hope he enjoyed his last hours doing something he loved :grouphug:

Very sad read! Well put email, puts things into perspective! Thoughts go to his family and friends Driven Mallory before and looked a very basic track but as stated quite technical and a few places carry high speed with little run off :(

From what I have heard the family will be naming a charity that they would like any donations to go too, but as of now this hasn't been done yet, I will post it up on here if and when I find out what that charity is.

I've been away for the weekend at a Sprint and only just come back to this terrible news. It's a sobering reminder that the safety warnings are there for a reason. Thankfully this is still very rare and trackdays in general are very safe events, which makes this all the more sad. Thanks to Trevski for sending the e-mail on behalf of all of us. As others have said, although I doubt it will offer much comfort to the mans family, at least he went doing something that he loved and enjoyed. :(

A very well worded email. A very sobering story. I think we have better protection than a Morgan but it does stop and make you think. For example, should I be thinking cage and HANS rather than a charger .....

Terribly sad for all his family and friends. These incidents really bring home the dangers of driving; whilst 99% of the time we are nice and safe, occaionally events conspire against us and the results can be tragic..... My thoughts are with his poor family. They have to live with this for the rest of their lives. Very sad.. :( Nice words, Trevski.
