Finally..... Poweeeer
I purchased the 2.0 lsj engine with ECU, Harness, Flywheel, and pedal assembly and planning a complete swap. I will aim for a safe 300hp following GM's recommendations.
" Building a 300 hp ECOTEC 2.0L Supercharged LSJ Engine "
Has anyone ever did a complete engine swap, Engine and Ecu from an LSJ engine to the VX220 ?
I wanted to do the same when I got a good deal with a complete LSJ engine, incl. loom and ecu.
With the HP-tuners program from the US you can program that ECU and there is also a lot of support available for the LSJ. (You will need things like switching the immobiliser off!)
An 2.0 LSJ conversion is still on my to-do list, but with the currrent Courtenay remap's it is just so much easier to buy some conversion parts, mount all the SC bits onto your 2,2 and remap your ECU => ~250HP will really do for some time. (Although I get used to it now...

(And parts like the chargecooler system and a good exhaust you need anyway for both engines.)
Edit:
I have wiring diagrams for the LSJ engine and figured most things out already.

Well an engine swap, and a CAN driven engine swap is a very different world
I am not even sure the LSJ ECU can work at all without the good ABS/TC/ESP ECU attached to it for example
The LSJ P12 ECU is a bit older than all the newer GM delphi units and works without CAN. So no need to wire in all the original ABS/TC/ESP ECU's....

(The US Ariel Atom also uses the LSJ Engine. And these guys seem to sell OEM VX parts to the Lotus guys for good money => http://secantvehicle...powertrain.html )
