I can however make an exception, I can't remember what Ferrari it was, could have been the 360, it was a new one anyway. They have these horrible big Ferrari stickers on the side of the car under the side repeaters (anyone know what I mean?). I would most deffinetly take them off if I was a Ferrrari owner.

thats a £900 option! (the wings are different as they have a sunken area where the badges sit)

If VX220 owners were that bothered by the identity of the car, they would have bought an Elise - I know people that would and people that have.

I was actually thinking about having "IT'S A VAUXHALL VX220" written down the side to save me having to tell everyone!

I left my badges on for a year, but then I was looking at a picture of my car and thought the huge rear badge was spoiling the look. So now its off. But I have a Griffin on the side of my number plate - so it really wasn't to disguise who makes the car (who doesn't know anyway??!!). The VX220 badge is off the back too, because on its own it was the last thing spoiling the smoothness.

I've had the front clam off, but the V went back on as I don't like the gaping hole look and don't think the Steinmetz grille looks good enough to warrant £150 - let alone how much it does cost.

I don't particularly like the badge on the steering wheel (it looks cheap). The badges on the wheels are fine.

Your car looks PHAT without the badge on the back. I dont care what manufaturer (apart from Lamborghini :D ) it generally looks better de-badged

I never heard of a Lotus owner who de-badged his car. Why should I with my Opel ? Opel and Vauxhall built some fine cars in the past, I owned an Commodore GS and a Senator 2.8 (Vauxhall Royale I think in UK). The more kilometers I drive with my new Opel, the more I'm convinced, but of course I think the image transfer Opel hoped to get from building the Speedster for the regular cars will take more cars like this.

I didn't so much as debadge my car more got bored half way through the re bading process. I certainly don't have a problem with the Griffin per se but I most certainly do have a problem with a griffin the size of a Beetle's hub cap. The idea was to order a pair of the dinky little griffins that are on the wheel centres. Something just a little bit more subtle.

Rear Badge too big. Front V and badge OK but I think may look better in black. Still have VX220 on back, Vauxhall on wheels, steering wheel and front.

You are such drama queens! The badges on the VX aren't 'plate sized' nor 'beetle hub cap sized' ! I'm not sure, I'll admit, why the rear griffin is bigger than the front one, and It does seem to be one of Vauxhall's bigger logos (is it from the commercial range ?)

So it just covers the front up? Also anyone that tries to remove the badge, be careful. Mine has a few small marks where someone tried to get mine off around the VX220 badge and big Vauxhall, the Vauxhall badge didn't come off and they gave up. Looks like its stuck on good. I think I'll remove it for good now, clean up the scratches and get a new VX220 badge.

It's a kit, based on a 1975 VW Beetle! :P :P Only joking - I'd love to be able to maintain a black VX! Imnotworthy On the same point, do I remember seeing a picture of a VX where the owner had replaced the badges with Lotus ones?
