Marco Polo the car looks awesome!! I thinking of getting my silver trimming or the V bit on the front painted red as well to match the car. Hopefully makes the grill look bigger. My Q is, I have black badges on my car, why is this? Is this an option you can get, or is my car a little special? Feel free to ruin my happy excitement of it being a special car. Heres my little beauty ona rainy day, just before the sun came out!

You are the lucky owner of one of only a handful of cars with black rear badges!

Unfortunately it's not a special edition or secret option or anything, someone probably just painted them black like Jase_MK or I :)

(I think it looks way better B))

Ben

Edit: Actually your car has other strange bits on it, what's the deal with the extra grilles over the boot?!?!

Double Edit: Have you got any more pics? You might have a very odd one

You car appears to have been subject to a few styling modifications. As Ratspants said, put up some more pics and we'll tell you if anything else has been altered besides the badge colour and the boot vents

The back box doesn't look stock, but that could just be the cam not picking up smaller details.

Surely the biggest benefit of removing the rear badges is all the weight loss?

That was my first reaction too, which probably means that it is non-standard.

LewisT, I think you need to make sure you know what you've got and have squared it with your insurance company

Each to their own, but IMHO if I was to look at buying a car other than thru Network Q and it had been de-badged, I'd probably think it looked 'mucked about with'.... ...and ask them to 're-badge' it before I bought it... B) ...to which the seller would no doubt tell me to :9mm: off! :D ;)

Was it a purchase from Vauxhall? If it was you can insist that they give you a new engine/boot cover

Nah, it wsnt from vauxhall, but for a start im sure they would say it was sold as seen. And if they wanted to give some good will, maybe if i was lucky they fix it. Besides which I quite like it. I think it looks good, or before when i thought it was standard i certainly did, but now i know its not, i like it even more!!!! I bloody love this car never liked a car as much as this one, well one that was mine anyways....
