Tell her she's been such a good wife that you want to pamper her and take her to a health Spa for a break. Then when it's full of cars play dumb.

Also there is a fair girly contingent going, so she will not be alone in her misery

That's it, tell her it is a Spa break and when she asks where the Sap is, point to the circuit and tell her it's not your fault she mis-understood the word Spa.

She'll be there by then so too late anyway.

Hi, Err if it helps it really is a spa area and there are quite a few resonably priced hotels dotted around the area which offer general pampering and mud bath type things so technically you could do both. Cheers Ian

Gawd bless you both..!!

All credit to the bread-knife, she is no fan of the VX but does tend to tolerate it and my 'whims'.. With the wee one we have now though, it (understandably, for all I complain) comes down to pound notes (or lack of them!) and me spending time away - no way would she want to come, and certainly not with our daughter..

If we're looking at c. £200-£250 for the td at the circuit (based on LOT prices), if I was to get a pass for, say, 3 days - over the afternoon/night before, then day on track, home on the third day, what do you think we'd be looking at expense wise? By that I mean fuel for the trip (each 200 miles being approx £30 - not counting the TD itself!), ferry & 2 nights cheap 'n' cheerful accommodation? Do you reckon I could do it for £500 all in?

dates wise , we are just waiting for the UK and EU circuits to schedule their race meetings and that should show what weekends are free , then you have to try and arrange things with a track day organiser , then its a race to beat everyone else to the hotels. ( pesky germans and their towels getting in early ) worth a mention on the speedster forums ?

Spoke to RMA about this today. They reckon the dates are being confirmed at the mo, and should be available November. They were exceptionally expensive!!

£300 odd I'd wager. Does Paul think he will be involved in a Spa track day?
