Anyone thinking of getting one, i would reccomend them, they do keep you planted in the seat a lot better and (speaking as somone without a spleen, although not due to a car crash), they do help in the event of a car crash as a lap belt too high is often the cause for loosing this rather handy organ in the prime of your life! i got asked multip times when i was in hospital "oh, not wearing your seatbelt properly?" or "was it a car crash?".

Graham has said he'd be happy to reinstate the discount but they're waiting on their next big delivery near the end of the month. So we probably will get a discount, just have to wait a couple of weeks for it.

I had 3 and they all broke, but they have changed the design now and its better, They are also very good at replacing any that break without any hassles.
If you fit the vx seat tightly I'm not sure they do much to be honest, but they did help some skinnier passengers.
Now gone to harnesses.

Yes, the 1st one I had failed. It was the tension lever. If that goes it just works like a normal seatbelt. Inconvenient more than anything else. The replacement has been perfect though.

I had one in the VX, actually bought it a few years before I got the VX. Really good piece of kit. When I sold the VX I left it in, only because I didn't have any allen keys handy to remove it. I just bought another two - one for me and one for my lad now he's in the basic booster seat.
