Mine are still lying on the garage floor, too smelly to put anywhere near the car, or inside the house (and thats saying something, since i get away with quite a lot of VX bits in the house)

Yea pretty similar to the one I bought last year, not sure if older ones were any better. They are a lot of cash for the quality of the item/matls, but it's a great design, so worth it at £35.

They just aren't very pleasant. If you've ever bought something Chinese and very cheap such as power tool, or something plastic, you'll know what it smells like. A sort of hydrocarbony nasty pungent smell. I'm sure it'll go eventually. I've had them a month though and i'm not ready to put them near the interior of my car yet.

Mine arrived too. Does the job but the price is very high for such a cheap Chinese-made part. Wonder how long it will take for "alternative" versions to pop up with the same design but different/no badge....

CG-Locks are now unavailable due to manufacturing problems.  Our new CG-Lock 'lite' is not a 'lock' but really does help with better positioning in the seat for highway driving.  They overcome the problems of the CG-Lock (weight, fiddly screw attachment, awkward release lever and COST).  Also designed by back specialists in UK, and made in the UK .. so no cheap Chinese smell :-)
