...just to add, I had terrible trouble with hard pedal, absolutely killed my confidence on track... last track day I turned off the ABS switch that I fitted 5 years ago and hey presto... brakes are absolutely bang on and consistant.  thumbsup

Thanks dude. Just got it installed this evening huge difference. Would like to put a 4 channel abs pump in, maybe one day. I moved the toe hitch to other side and the switch fitted perfectly. http://imgur.com/5q3fg8n

Has anyone looked at which wire this 'yellow wire' actually is? from what I've read, folks have attacked the loom somewhere along it's length, and it's a case of 'this one or that one' and look at the dash?

My loom has been damaged, with a single torn wire right at the ABS plug. Yup, it's a yellow one. Now the cars in pieces at present, so I can't just flip the switch and see if the ABS light comes in. Would this yellow wire be the one by some stroke of luck??

There are two yellow wires, one does ABS the other Tachometer (rev counter).

shitty lighting in the warehouse... of the two yellow wires, one does indeed have a faint grey stripe.

stroke of luck that the only damaged wire is indeed the solid yellow one :)

cross posting, that not only is 'trimming' the solid yellow wire the way to go (disabling NSF ABS sensor) - thereby disabling the ABS, but something i hadnt heard of till pointed out to me... DRP (dynamic rear proportioning)... you need to also disconnect the right rear ABS sensor. see post here: http://www.vx220.org...rack/?p=1375698 wiring diagrams... see page 13: http://www.zincprote...ng diagrams.pdf
