Although if you fit the 6 speed you will need bits from the lotus Europa, ie mount and shafts. If you fit the Let box to the Leh engine i 'think' youll need a new flywheel and clutch.

thanks for the pm andy :) right first off, seeing as though your going to have to change the box anyways, i would say the LEH 6 speed is a must have - more cost in the long run as you need new shafts but well worth it IMO. the conversion is a pretty straight forward one, if your mechanically minded, as most of the bits are off either a VXT or lotus Europa. if your going for the big power then i would say the LEH is a good option, these things sail round to 300bhp with little problems on mostly standard parts. charging the 2.2 is a superb option also, but for ultimate power i favour the LEH. i can help you with almost everything with this conversion, but as with any conversion, what ever you think it will cost, it will always cost more. the hidden costs mainly come in the form of VXT suspension, pipes, wiring looms etc etc i don't want to fill this thread with dribble as i could probably rattle on for hours, but i am very happy with my conversion, it goes very well and it a lot of bang for your bucks. if you ask me it is well worth it, but the 6 speed box is a must to get the most out of it. fire away with any specific questions you may have :)

380bhp will soon be the norm with a Harrop sc fitted to the z22se engine and that restricted power level is only due to the cylinder liners, upgrade those and 450bhp should be possible thumbsup

Seriously? Thats crazy - I like the sound of that. There's me thinking of upgrading to a turbo in a few years time for more power. Maybe not.... thumbsup

If I could have got the ecu sorted by now I would be just about there already

Won't the saab turbo fit onto the 2.2 as a straight fit?
