Sorry to see you’re selling up, Seb :o No doubt there will be another NA waiting to be supercharged once you’ve completed uni. Good luck with the sale and your studies thumbsup ps sure you’ll have fun in the mini, 6 years of uni and only a push bike for me (not that I'm jealous  :P)

Seb, get the EML reset and sort out the sensor. Nobody wants to spend £14k on a car with the EML light on.

Could be handy rich, I was going to just buy a new one, but if you've got some lying around? I can reset the EML after.

Also - if you had a prospective buyer, would you let them drive this type of car, considering it can almost certainly be totally destroyed in the hands of someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

You can weigh people up very well in my experience - I've let somebody who has only driven 1.2 engined clios have a rallly in mine.

Go with your gut feeling thumbsup

For test drives, a potential buyer should prove they are insured to drive it. The way I have worked it with bikes in the past is to count the asking price in to an envelope, seal it and both the buyer and seller sign the seal. If they cock up, at least you have the cash.

IMO the car is not something to put a price on. I couldn't bear selling mine, now regret it for the sake of a few thou. Still, the missus has bought a VXT so I still get the odd day out of it!
