Nick that looks brilliant! I would love an Exige in either lime green or orange - it only seems right to have a silly car in a silly colour! I was the guy that spotted you over on pistonheads that spotted you a few months ago on the M1. Nick I believe you work with my step nephew come to think of it.

Also prefer the 2010. May a stupid question but how do you fit a larger roof scoop without replacing the hardtop?

The scoop on the standard exige s finishes halfway along the roof. There is an extension that you can buy which extends and enlarges the scoop up to the window. I then had the body shop blend the extended piece into the roof respray so it looks OEM - gives the car a much more agressive look.

Looks great. Very racy. Do you know how much more downforce the GT3 wing generates?

PS Do you have any close up photos of the diffuser hangers? I need to add mounts in much the same place for my Jimsan diffuser as the vented rear clam does not have enough strength to support the weight (there's more mesh than fibreglass on the lower section). I was planning to bend some flat bar and mount the the spare rivnuts at the exhaust hangars, but that looks a much neater solution.

quick pic of the diffuser hanger...

You can but the metal adjusters and shackles from any boat shop, failing that you could try any diy shop.

That is very special. £150, did that include the wing and uprights? I bet that reg cost a few bucks, it matches your user name perfectly.

£150 from your local lotus dealer or online, and that includes both uprights and blades. Few quick more and you get the gaskets and correct nuts and Bolts - only held on with 4 bolts drilled through the clam! This would probably be one of the cheapest ways to get 'proper' downforce to the rear of the vx for not a lot cash, but not sure what it would look like ?!

I've had the plate for about 8 years now, and was less than £200 at the time. Always thought it was bit of a bargain at the time.
