[JimmyJamJerusalem]

A great fun circuit just 30 odd minutes from the Channel Tunnel port. Also due to the masses of run off it's one of the safest tracks about so VERY newbie friendly!!

It's on a weekend so can easliy be done without any time off work and at only £99 it's a bargain! Also usually a great social event as we can have a giggle on the Sat night.

Crossing times yet to be decided, but there will be various convoys heading over.

Come along it'll be great fun! It's such a safe track, even when you get it wrong (as I once did) there is so much run off!!!

As for evenings... Most of us look on these more for the social aspect than the track so we enjoy a night out after the track day and crash ina hotel. Thats more the reason for the trip! My 4th time at Abbeville now I think....? We usually crash in a cheap F1 type hotel, but we're thinking of living it up in the Mercure this year that said I'm easy as when we look into prices (Ali ) we always bottle it and go cheap.

Sorry jimmy, The Mercure is 163 bed & breaky, that's for the 2 nights based on 2 sharing. The ibis is 135 for the same, b&b, 2 sharing. It's a bit cheaper for single occupancy.

Was the Ibis where we stayed last time? Bit of a dump and a mile out of town.... For the sake of 30 we'd guarantee being smack in town and we'd save on taxi's (if we're lucky enough to be able to find a taxi)....

That pizza place where I mullered Martini's egg is right outside, and so was that pub with the table football where the crazy frenchman attacked Joe and me Ahh memories.....

They have a garage for four or five cars at the side of the hotel but it's very very tight in there and not much fun moving around in there. Martin, VIX and I all scraped out cars going in and out each time because the crown of the road was so high and the gutters were so low. I wouldn't bother again and would park it on the open air car park about 100 metres away.
