ibis or mercure?
Mercure was agreed as the price wasn't massively different when i looked last. BUT looking at the following prices the IBIS is a no brainer for me as it's much, much cheaper than the Mercure.
Break down of prices:
Mercure: 2 nights.
2 people, including breakfast: £230 unrestricted, £192 pay when you book.
1 person, including breakfast: £180 unrestricted, £148 pay when you book.
Ibis: 2 nights.
2 people, including breakfast: £109 unrestricted, £125 pay when you book.
1 person, including breakfast: £95 unrestricted, £112 pay when you book.
(15Euro discount per night on unrestricted rate atm, hence it being cheaper than the pay in advance)
It would have been nice to stay in luxury for a change but TBH I cant justify the extra £££ to stay at the mercure if i'm travelling alone.
If absolutely everyone goes for the Mercure then I might change to there but for now i'm booked at the IBIS.

crossings:
eurotunnel to calais 1.50pm outwards 11.20am inwards £99
Seafrance ferries to calais same times - £58
norfolkline - £55
what is everyone thinking?
Surely Tesco Clubcard vouchers for The Tunnel is the option?
Would only 'cost' £25 worth of vouchers
