hia, i recently bought myself another damaged vx220 turbo, this one is in need of a sill door and repair to the front clam, i will be uploading some pics as soon as it stops raining :( current spec from which i know of: miltek exhaust system team dynamic 1.2 alloys in black black v grill black windscreen surround uprated speakers touring pack option 37k miles 03 plate in coral blue last night i picked up a mk4 astra gsi turbo with a new courtenay clutch, vxr turbo, injectors and afm which i will be using for my vxt to put it to stage 4, the engine also has a regal inlet cam which i will swap over, this made 296bhp and 356lb of torque in the astra, the rest of the gsi will be stripped for parts and sold on. the vx is going for a colour change this week and should be done in a few weeks time. i will be fitting nitron suspension this week then i just need to find myself a charge cooler system......... hope some of you enjoy my progress, i will load up pics as soon as possible :) thanks, adam

ok so started to strip some bits off the vx today, not a great deal but the rear clam is about ready to remove, leave front clam for now to repair while its on the car.........some pics of the astra im using the vxr parts off and the courtenay clutch, thought i am starting to think about using a vxr engine and gearbox as i would like a 6speed......im going to hunt around for one now :)

looks like im getting some louvers for the front clam, think i will make a couple of small adjustments to rear clam. carbon turbo ears might be going on instead of the normal ones and looking and getting some other carbon parts for it :) still need a charge cooler though :(

had a fairly busy day, got the engine out of the astra today, removed clutch and turbo ready to fit to the vx220, im unsure if the vx already has a vxr turbo though.....not sure how to check this? installed regal inlet cam to the vxt and replaced cam cover seal, stripped a few more bits and bobs etc off it

few more pics of how im getting on, few more bits to come off tomorrow then car going tuesday, going to pick paint tomorrow and get it ready for my friend to collect tues morning, regal inlet cam in and runs very well with it, going to get an engine crane and remove engine as i think it would be easier to do clutch and turbo this way? also can clean up the car alot more with it out and give the engine a good tarting up :D
realy enjoying this project though so far, apart from the money side, another £300 spent today on fitting cam and bought a lightend flywheel as this might aswell be done while the clutch is being done.....

now have the pass door off and apart along with a few other bits and bobs :) need to decide if to keep these wheels and get new tyres or buy another set of wheels though......
