i did bugger all today realy, took these pics, then i cleaned out the floor and interior area to start with the carpets and will try get fuel pump done tomorrow, will wait for the verdict on why it wont start first though

maybe take some more pics tmo if i get anything els done.....

thought i would post a list of things done etc and still to do..... car fully stripped down for colour change to mandarin interior carpet set uprated fuel pump nitron 1way coilovers all round compotomotive alloys 17/16 combo orange compotomotive stickers for the wheels headlights resealed diffuser (still to buy) black vents, v, spoiler, rear vx220 turbo badge and windscreen surround lightened flywheel fast road clutch vxr afm vxr injectors and rail vxr turbo regal inlet cam fitted airbox mod fresh oils new slave cylinder charge cooler system with samco hoses currently has full miltek exhaust but 3" will be on straight after mot resprayed mesh on front and rear lids and behind front v swapped blue/black interior for all black leather im sure i have missed things but you get the idea.... not to get it running and back together

suppose i could get a few things done on this tomorrow after some work in the morning. tomorrow i will be happy to get the rear clam fully fixed in place with arch spats and badges, lights etc on and rollbar cover bolted down, interior 50% complete and maybe 1 of the doors on would be nice.....also front splitters to go on aswell im going to leave the fuel pump for someone else to do i think as i dont feel confident with cutting and trying to makeshift a cover, soldering the wires etc etc etc more pics to come tomorrow

realy getting there now got the car running tonight, needs a camshaft sensor but nothing to cry about, tomorrow it will be complete and ready for the road as a close friend is off work and is giving me a hand with the doors etc, then once the sensor is here i can fit that, finish it off and neil is coming back to clear it. would like to thank neil for all his help, hes great, knows very well what hes doing and a top bloke! thanks,ad

thanks stuwy i will get some more pics up next week, im away this weekend but today me and a friend got the passenger door on and lined up, the seats and interior trims in and finished off, a few rear end bits and bobs like plate lights etc, also got one of the new wheel stickers on, they will finish the car off imo, they are a perfect match for the paint

got a couple of little things done today, sealed new grill into drivers side vent, put all the new stickers on the wheels, im very very happy with the new stickers, they match up to the car very very well passenger door is on, hope to get drivers side door on tomorrow then the jobs left to do are: bottom mount engine lid undertrays heatshields boot carpet etc few little odds and sods then mot, vic test and tax.......probly soon after it will come off the road for abit more power but first maybe bigger brakes should be bought

not sure what i will go for next to be honest.....there is alot of things i would love to do to the car, will see what i fancy for the next mod once its finished.....maybe some nicer seats?

back to bits again this week. rear clam is coming off to be able to see the engine abit better. fed up of this project now. will be on ebay soon after its finished i think

Our cars can be very trying at times but just driving it when everything is working makes it all worthwhile!

My advice to you would be to get it to a specialist (Courtenays, MMG) asap. It will probably work out cheaper in the long run and they know the VX like the back of their hands

well it realy tested me this time mate hopefully never again like that though. its all running sweet now so i think tomorrow i will try spend a little time on it and get some bits finished off, looking at the mot next week, vic the week after and exhaust made up and remap the same week if possible also mmg 6 fin bought along with hardtop which is being sprayed mandarin

got abit done today fitted rear lid/engine cover removed interior and lined up rear clam properly refitted interior finished passenger door things left to do: fit inner arches wire charge cooler pump complete drivers door fit drivers side turbo vent then its mot, vic, tax and get the exhaust made then remap and shes all done untill i do more mods
