I think Clarkson is in Toyotas pocket. Raved about the LFA last week. That Mustangs not really a looker...that made the art directors job a whole lot harder.
I love how TG think everyone wants to just power slide everywhere (GT86)...of course they do. And no hint of it being slightly underpowered.

I thought it was a decent episode tonight. Glad to see the GT86/BRZ get a review after all the chat on here.
Amy
Not much interested in the "Stang" but it is a beast of a thing to look at.
Think both the guest and the Mustang are items that look good from a distance, but are probably mush less interesting / appealing when up close and personal. /Lets not talk about getting inside - as that could lead to trouble.
I think Ms McDonald could become a terrible bore very very quickly and there was something quite queer about her mannerisms.
My 2p worth.

Much as it pains me to say this but the iPhone and other Apple devices have principally developed by a Brit, Jonathan Ive - http://en.wikipedia....ki/Jonathan_Ive
Have never fully come to terms with the fact that America can give us the iPhone (sorry bob)
And it is made in Taiwan by Foxconn.

I do like the seemingly constant split of opinions of Top Gear so far this series which seem to vary from week to week.
I think the issue is not really with the content, more that the concept is pretty much now on its arse.
I actually thought the GT86 section was okay, but would have benefited from not being quite so focused towards boy racers, as that seems to be the direction Top Gear now seem to think 'petrol heads' are heading.
I am a petrol head, but certainly am not a boy racer - christ, the VX I had was pampered and rarely used in anger. I am smitten with the GT86, as it ticks all but one box for me. It is quick, but not too fast, looks good and feels well made. The driving position feels like somewhere you sit to drive, not be driven. But it does lack an open roof.

the shelby mustang was horrible in every sense of the word.
I disagree. I think it looks good, and the power, how can you not like that ?
I actually am of the same opinion on the Shelby Mustang as Clarkson, I think it's a very likeable car for the reasons above, and the history. I'd never buy one, but I do like them.

The concept of a motoring show?
