Watches are so last centuary.
Why wear a watch when you carry a smart phone with the time on it?

Not strictly true. We've had various "what shed have you got", "what tools have you got" type threads. Watches? Meh. Just need a few like "how big is the stripe on your lotus" or "how much cash can you fit in the boot, with pics" threads. Then we're willy waving.Hmmm seloc willy waving thread. First time I've seen this on org.

I collect watches and pens and have the usual suspects like Rolex and Omega but my Bulova Accutron Spaceview that I bought when I had my first serious job is my favourite. Just sold a Panerai which I never liked and stuck it in the back of my wardrobe and had a very pleasant surprise when I put it on e-bay.
Just recently I've started collecting pocket watches and have a very rare one-off Art Deco pocket watch with a matching chain.
I'll try to post some pictures of it because it really is a work of art.
