I wonder if you people who buy unnecessarily expensive watches (etc) realise the psychological reasons behind it... it might be worth looking it up and learning something about yourself.

Wearing a Fossil and have around 20 of them.
Currently wearing a Fossil myself. Really quite like it.
It is a big heavy watch, but that is exactly what I wanted.

I don't buy them, other people buy them for me My normal watch is my Polar heart rate monitor circa £30.
In defense of people who do like to buy nice watches, that normally are expensive, I have to say, for me it's more about the craftsmanship than the bling. Anyway you're a 40 something driving around in a flashy sports car - bet there's loads of info about what that says about you and your genitalia.

Just recently I've started collecting pocket watches and have a very rare one-off Art Deco pocket watch with a matching chain.
I'll try to post some pictures of it because it really is a work of art.
I would like to see that - I like art deco.

I don't have a watch...
there is very few I like but I am very very picky and cant afford or justify any of the watches I like.
I always thought that I might get something nice for my 30th but looking at my current situation and the fact that its not that far away it will have to be my 40th. I do hope that I make it that far

Fair play, bet that is worth some cashI have a submariner that I wear all the time and it's a little scratched now. (For coco's reference it has the gold stripe). I also have a skeletonised vacheron constantin tourbillon watch. Just because I like to look at the guts of it. It's very impressive craftsmanship. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A Garmin 920XT, and that's only when I'm either running or cycling. I prefer my wrists naked.

Really? Have you taken a look at how dirty, scruffy and home made my car is? I don't think anyone could say it's flashy, except maybe a blind person!
