I might sell the bodywork kits and subframes for the Audi conversion when it's done don't want to be greedy and keep them all to myself

segmented foam parts sanded down to form the buck these are taken from the computer model so are accurate both sides.
the rest are actual panels and clams cut and repositioned.
that's the plan anyway.
and yes very ambitious, but a lot of computer redesign helps avoid many problems before you encounter them in person.

honestly id get the foam bucks CNC machined. its a massive job. having manually made foam bucks for things in the past, i think youll drown in the amount of work required to make complete clams and panels. i met a guy who did this kind of thing once, from memory the workshop's main job was making custom designed fiberglass swimming pools and spas etc. massive foam blocks and equally large CNC rigs. he said they did stuff like panel moulds on the side.
computer design helps a lot, but count on making at least one prototype

more than likely will be looking into moulds made by third party when it comes to even thinking of making a second round of bodywork

Take a look at what this guy here in Sweden is doing. He built his own styrofoam CNC mill (hope I get the words right)
If I remember correctly it is a self made chassie with driveline from a Corvette. The body is in GF/CF and he scanned a model of some Merc concept car he thought looked cool. Then the home made mill made the plugs (bucks?). He has just now started making the actual panels.
The thread is of considerable size and I guess kind of hard to scroll around in since it's in swedish but HERE I found som cool stuff

There's some large form 3D printers coming out now and reasonably affordable pricing, but suitability and material choice probably wouldn't suit what you're into.
Would be perfect for smaller items such as light clusters and fixings.

luckily for me the only real fabrication is the side skirts ,doors , front valance and rear diffuser the rest is standard exige cup bodywork cut up a bit that thread is very intersting
id love to be able to purchase one of those large format 3d printers or even create a large axis mill
it probably would be cheaper for me just to get the plugs made third party and then complete the bucks for the rest of the body myself

Please excuse my illiteracey but bucks vs plugs? What's the difference?
