Alternative Oil Filter Seals

All, I may be able to get some replacement seals made up for the oil filter on the na through a local gasket manufacturer I use for work. They would not be oem, and wouldn't be metal seal rings, but the would be a suitable alternative. They would be compatible with oil and water, and be temperature rated and made from a material we use for our heat exchangers units (petrochemical industry). I am still investigating, but expect them to be around £15 a pair. To help me gauge interest, and see if it is with doable, who would be interested at that price? You are not committing here, just expressing a genuine interest if this is doable at this price. Your comments appreciated....

Not really, most gaskets are designed for single use but you might get away with it.....

How many pairs am I allowed? Surely if there is no other solution, and these aren't reusable we need a sh*t load of them for future oil changes? Shouldn't we be looking to sort a central stock or something like a club shop?!? Or am I panicking too much Mr mainwaring?
