hello chaps! just thought i would pop a thread up of the latest vxt project i have now its a silver 2004 vx220 turbo i bought as a cat D damaged car, needed rear clamshell, drivers side rear light, inner arch, spoiler and a few other bits and bobs the car is currently at spray away in oswestry having a full respray in kawasaki green once back i have a big spec engine here which has been fully rebuilt, bottom end has been built to withstand 500bhp and i was tempted to go for around the 400bhp mark but i think im going to stick around the 300bhp mark (thats plenty of power for me) bought a new set of gaz coilovers, the car already has a milltek exhaust system and a few other bits that i noticed also bought a new fast road clutch and a lightened and balanced flywheel so they are here ready to fit. another purchase was the full charge cooler system which i got from a forum member for a very good price (thanks again josh) wheels will have a full refurb in gloss black, turbo ears, spoiler V grill, fuel cap and rear badges black, front bagdge will be green i will have a look for some pics of the car when i picked it up and then will update when i get the car back either end of this week or start of next. i aim to have the engine out within 24hours of having it back here and the new engine back in within 48hours of having it back, then start to build it all back up clearing loads of parts out the garage now and getting things ready

thanks guys and thanks again nev for the help, i am looking for another used turbo and manifold. very gutted i lost connection and missed that auction now it sold for £650, i would have paid that with ease. never mind eh i will be happy with around 300bhp again for the summer time

i have indeed i made a very healthy profit off that which some people would see as about 5months wages so it had to go.........will keep this one for most of the summer though as the days are looking pretty nice and clear/warmish already

my first one was yellow, the second one (most recent) was blue then i sprayed it mandarin now onto this silver one spraying kwaker green

thats what i think, saves them from going to the breakers and making them somthing a little more special in my eyes doing in the bright colours and with decent engine specs

well ad ,hope alls going well mate.....im gona pick my last vxt up soon...hpi clear...that my lot then got advertise the 6 turbos i have....

will be up your way some time so will pop around to av a nose...

that be great mate pop round have a couple of cars to go view after this vx is finished but not too sure what i will preffer so i will test drive and decide then give me a text when your coming this way
