Obviously im going to look at getting the car sorted first and then a good set of tyres, getting used to the car and so on but this is a forum... didnt think there was any harm in asking that

Call or email him, you'll struggle to find anything otherwise as his website is rarely up to date plus prices are usually quoted as from standard to stage x.

And yes, most people go straight to stage 4 because the cost from 2>3 is 90% as much as from 2>4 (approximately).

Really. How much is stage 4 on its own? It must be another grand without fitting?

Probably best to give them a call buddy. Did you manage to figure out what was wrong with the car in the end?

I had a little play with a fiesta ST yesterday, rolling start and i left him for dead... in my standard NA!! So your turbo should've destroyed it!! ... On a private road of course... strangely called the M25

Not yet im trying not to use it much, im going away this weekend so its booked in for next week. Because im not sure if the cars performance is right or not my mate offered to have a few tests in different gears against me... he has a 350bhp focus RS. Started in third gear at 45mph, he left me straight away and pulled about 4 car lengths. Then tried second gear and he only pulled 2 car lengths but obviously would of pulled more at silly speeds. Then we tried rolling in first gear as he just spins off the mark... i pulled about 3 car lengths then he caught up soon after. Been out in a lads stage 2 VX on the weekend and mine doesnt seem to pull as hard compared to his. He put his foot down in third and it pulls hard straight away where as mine in third doesnt pull hard untill near the end of the rev counter. My engine revs a little on idle a little and drops revs so i bought some new spark plugs incase there was water in the old ones but no change although im glad i changed them as the old ones were pretty black. Just have to wait and see next week :( my mate thinks the manifold could be cracked as its losing power and you can hear a whisle sort of noise, even before turbo kicks in... and on start up you can hear a tapping noise. All this happend to his GSI and wasnt cheap to fix

Sounds like you really need to get your car looked at / sorted before you contemplate doing anything anything else to it.

Oh bugger mate, really sorry to hear that.

I think you should be able to beat your mates car in all gears, theres a video on here somewhere of a 260ish BHP SC'd Vx against an RS and the RS didnt stand a chance. Your Stage 2 turbo should be similar in speed to the SC... if not a bit quicker (in the straights).

Hope you get it sorted soon, i have a feeling when its running properly you'll be more than happy with it Posted Image

I hope so mate :) My mates is the older RS but running 350bhp. I seen that video but i wonder what the outcome would be starting from 60mph. I could pull away till about 90ish from anything under 30mph but after that i didnt have a chance

As Joey says hope you manage to get your car sorted (and it doesnt cost too much to sort!). Hopefully it'll be closer to the speed you're searching for so you won't have to spend out on Stage 4.

Me too. If when its fixed and stage 2 is like my 300bhp VXR i will be happy with that but IMO i cant see it being as fast. There would have to be a big jump
