On my commute to work, on a roundabout I do everyday. Approach it slower than usual as I've been attempting to break 40 mpg, next thing I know I've done a 180 into a lamp post.
Thankfully no one else involved.

I feel so sad. I dont see anything but cat B.

The rear axle is in two.

Even then, I don't think I'll be able to get insured on one without any no claims.

So back to the astra for a couple of years and I hope I'll be back soon.

Obviously thankful I'm ok, just pissed off.

I'm devastated, sorry guys :(

Is that the roundabout on the A10 just after the one for the A120? That was a touch on the lairy side last night :( And I've had a moment on it in the past with the VX when not going fast as it was hissing it down, but luckily nothing that bad.

Really sorry to see the pictures as I know how long you spent looking for the right car. And that one looked a beauty. PS. Your driver side toe link has failed as well with no obvious signs of damage on that side. It is possible that failing caused the spin with the resulting damage to the passenger side when you hit the lamp post.

Thanks guys really appreciate all the support on here, youre all a credit to this great forum. Just feeling sorry for myself as I know my premiums will now go through the roof even on my astra. Hopefully I'll be back in the vx world in a couple of years. Until then I'll show up in my astra to the odd meet :)

You may all be on to sometihng with the toe link as the car literally span 180 on the spot. Answers a few questions in my head.
