About two months ago I was in a meeting with Sir John Major. When he looked through the list of attendances and saw my name (sounds like von Klinkerhoffen ) he said to someone sitting next to him " God, are we hiring Russian's at the MCC now?" - cheeky git - got no favours from me...especially when I said hello to him after the meeting and made a point of telling him I was from Austria with a wry smile.....oooo also met my friend at works niece who is Fearne Cotton...did not really know too much about her but she was sooo sweet and lovely.... God I sound a right lovey twat

I am on first name terms with Alice Barry (lillian from shameless) i work with her son and have been to her Blackpool b/b many times and yes she does look like that in real life big glasses and bullbose nose but cracking good laugh.

I'm mid forties & not into Cricket, would know Ian Botham but that's about it, so for about 10 years I was on first name terms with a chap called Tom Graveney. The 2 older guys I worked with use to be speechless when he use to pop in to see me & insist on being called Tom.

Aahh Tom was lovely...i went To his leaving do when he retired as President of the MCC...he wrote a good book as well which did a good job of riduculing many people at work...was brilliant!!!
