That 2 week statment will haunt me forever lol I love the fact that the air filter I spec'd is about twice the size of avialable space :o in talks with a company finishing some testing for the same spec engine / map on the vag stuff who have been brilliant so far and will find something that will be the best of the free space keeping the oe no clam / chassis mods. The turbo clam gives a better option DG

air box is something that could benefit z20let , there was noticeable blade damage on the engineer report I got from turbo dynamics, so its high on my list to fix.

Strange you mention that but after the 2nd vag conversion is completed I am looking at building / offering a kit based conversion for the general DIY'er to do themselves with full support and build as they can afford the sections of the kit from mounting kit, fuel upgrade kit, custom shafts, charge cooler kit, ECU work, custom plug and play loom, DG spec exhaust etc etc. You get the idea :) The bigger picture is that in the scheme of things the k04 vag spec conversion is a few grand more (turn key conversion) v's a stage 4 spec vxt from stage 0-2. Take into account far better mpg, response been direct fuel injected (no lag), linear power delivery, lot newer higher spec engine with better protection that is oe and not strained at this power at all in the heavy S3 etc let alone the light nibble vx, a gearbox that will not break and no chassis or clam mods. Hell if you want 600bhp its not much work really and just enough space to house the bigger turbo ECU can be configured to a host of different setting yourself But lets get a few on the road and demonstrate why I have put soo much time into making this happen and maybe even drag it round the ring to see if I can beat my 8:03 time or better still get some of the real drivers I know there to set a proper time :D Be rude not to set some times on the strip also as a benchmark of its raw ability and real world performance and of course a load of minor options during build that can be added from lsd onwards DG

It might be if you stop posting and start spannering. Don't give me the "But I am at work" excuse, just doesn't wash with me.

Turbo clam allows a dedicated full ear of air to feed the hungry turbo from pax side intake :P n/a has to share with the cc ear intake on drivers side, well unless you ewanted an intake through the boot lol DG
