What do you really want from from a car? Looks=vx220, Handling=vx220, Speed=vxt, Practicality= Astra. The Astra VXR is quick and comfortable ( I guess, never driven one). The vx220 is more thrilling. Its brute force versus technical driving to give you speed. One is more fun the other is easier to live with day to day.

besides the fact they are both classed as 'cars' and both have a griffin on them - that's where the similarity ends.... 2 very different beasts I also easily kept up with my mates 300bhp Astra VXR in my 145bhp NA.....in fact I had to back off a tad, which he was slightly miffed about! Scrabble-tastic! He then promptly got the keys stolen from his house, the car wheeled off the driveway and driven off into the night...It was last seen 2:45am heading to aylesbury probably to be broken or sent overseas.

That doesnt answer my question Artic, I would also like to know if the reverberations off my 16" sub will provide more or less boost than a set of go faster stripes. many thanks.

An NA driver talking about boost!? Blasphemy!
As long as the stripes are black so as to absorb light, this should develop in some sort of extra energy transferring to the car.
