but whoever had the car before me had rewired the relay socket to fit whatever relay they could get their hands on


My god, that would have been practically impossible to concluse, even with all the effort from here.

Yup, it didn't help that Op-comm reported back, that when cranking the engine the fuel pump relay went from inactive to actve.....and stayed active which gaves no indication that it was constantly flipping, plus throwing in a 1516 error for good measure.

Im just glad I have my car back :tt:

Well done for sticking at it, they drive you crazy sometimes but worth it in the end
