So this must have all happened between the VX and the MX-5 then, given how much money attention that's consuming?

Congratulations to the pair of you. thumbsup

Congratulations Bob!
First one?

Yeah first one. Been wanting kids for years

Yeah I know that feeling, and life constantly seems to keep chucking up ever more roadblocks / diversions.

Just get the super shed sorted in time, as you will only be in the bad books once the little one arrives and you "need to do something on the car"

The main reason that the Vx was getting sold was to clear off some debts in preparation for family. Also, it was always a car "to keep me occupied for a while before family" so selling it was a message to my missus and I that it was time.

There's never going to be an absolutely right time and there's always something that will come along so you've just got to bite the bullet and go for it.

Yeah, the super-shed is getting everything done now, so its all good. thumbsup

^^^this

As my best mate said, either you have kids or you don't. There's never a right time and if you wait too long the decision might be made for you.

Congrats Bob :) On an aside, had my first TNF inhibitor assessment today which went well...currently considering the (many) side effects :(

I too had to seach to see what hat was... Doesn't sound fun, hope the side effects aren't as horrid as they sound like they could be.

I am 28, she is 30 so that shouldn't be a problem yet - but some fcuker could do being told that. Mel had two miscarriages when she was on the pill, as it wasn't working right, and now we are wanting nature to take its course it won't happen.

It takes time mate. I'm sure you already know this, but there are tonnes of factors that go into it and everyone is different. Chin up and enjoy the practising. ;)

Twas an interesting morning :(

Spent an hour or two with the consultant (I knew what was coming after the initial consultation and googling the fcuk out of TNF)

TBH it was very much 'we have to tell you the side effects, they aren't 100% going to happen'....however, being told the cure will give you cancer/TB/lots of things that may kill you wasn't the most pleasant of things to hear.

However, people who know me/have helped me out on here probably appreciate I'm not a well bunny, and it's slowly getting worse. This was nicely illustrated by my 'scoring' (out of ten)

2008 ---- 0.92
2009-----1.50
2010------2.00
2011-----2.95

today......5.75 :(

Job is under threat :( Dont/cant really drive the VX without suffering for it afterwards :(

So something has to give. So the possible improvements outweigh the side effects :)

As an aside.....gimme gimme gimme

Much want :)

Go for the treatment and deal with the concequences another day. fcuk it... There's too many things that we still need to experience in life without making it more difficult.

Getting a decent shot of an E60 M5, loved it, it's some machine, big refined saloon that turns into a hooligan that tries to headbutt the horizon! Big fan :) That sound!
