Another offer which I'd like to take up
Just wanted to say thanks to Jon Fuller for the tour just now, very quick car
Think a straight NA might not be for me but loved the look of the VX220 and the seating position was spot on for the sort of drive I am looking for.
I work in Teddington, I just wish I could get mine to work so you could try it out ans see what an SC can do.

If your a throttle jockey and you like straight line speed and do a lot of "normal" roads its a no brainer you need a slightly tatty or cat turbo, you can spend cash on it in the future to bring the performance up and tidy it.
If your happy to be slightly slower on "normal" roads and just give the car some stick on the drivers roads and like to rag a car to make it go some get an na
On the right roads my na has been glued to the back of turbos and left a few
You have to work the na hard and its good fun but the turbo gives a great surge of acceleration
You could do with a pax ride in an na with someone who will show you what it can do as a test drive will not help much, well I dont think I would like to put a strange car near its limits
Just to jump in feel the power the turbo is the car and not much will keep up

There really isn't that much difference in performance on the road. The faster car will be the one with the driver that takes more risks. Where I notice the difference between the cars is when it comes to overtaking. The turbo comes into it's own there, especially if you get a diesel rep mobile who tries to play silly buggers....
Go for either, you will have a blast!

I refused to drive Jons car even though he offered more than once!
Would be good to feel an unmodified turbo and an NA, just to decide what really has the feel for what I am after.
That may have been a good call ;lol:
I think if you want a fast car you would be better with a cat turbo if you can find one thats only been scratched and that not a joke they get binned for a bit of fiberglass and a head light.
But a nice loved na is a great car and I have had loads of pleasure from mine but after a few years I would like more power

Do You Really Feel The Difference Na Vs Turbo?
No, Vauxhall thought it would be a really fun game to re-engineer the car, and there was a requirement to flush money down the drain, it didn't matter that it had no effect what so ever.

I'm sure you'll enjoy NA or turbo as both are cars good
well done for doing your homework and joining the club
Thanks Aimy, yep hoping to get in an NA soon to see what its like

Although like you, am waivering towards forced induction just because I want to try it. Had an NA before and the driving characteristics that brings, wouldnt mind something else.
That said, I did have a company car, Scirocco 1.4TSi, turbo and supercharged, now there was a strange driving experience!
